Nursery, also called “Pebbles” are our youngest of Quarry Rockers. Pebbles consist of newborn to 4 years old. We have trained and experienced leaders who love children and thoroughly enjoy spending time with them.
When you come to Quarry Rock, you can bring your child to the nursery and know that he/she is being loved to your utmost satisfaction.
A background check is accomplished on all volunteers who choose to work in any of our children’s ministries.
Feel free to come early and hang out and watch the interaction with your child and you will know that your child is in great hands and you can enjoy the worship service at Quarry Rock!
Children’s church, also called “Rocks” are children from grades K-4th. We have a fun filled time with the children during the worship service teaching them about Jesus and the Bible.
A background check is accomplished on all volunteers who choose to work in any of our children’s ministries.
During the first part of the service, the children are encouraged to sit with you in the sanctuary. There they will get to take part in the singing and praying and a small children’s sermon every other week. After that, the children are released and the teacher will escort your child back to the class area where they will have a lesson of their own to tell you about when church is over. The children love it!
Youth Group, known as “CONNEXIONZ” consists of our future leaders in our churches, our workforce, our communities, and our country. CONNEXIONZ ranges from 5th grade through 12th grade.
All of the youth meet together to pray and worship through music and then from there, they break down into groups that are more appropriate for learning and maturity. Grades 5-8 meet together right now and are working on possibly splitting even further to 5th and 6th graders together, 7th and 8th graders together and then 9th-12th graders together.
Kim Dossett is the youth leader. She is an awesome leader with a heart to bring our youth to their fullest potential in Christ. Kim and the assistants who help her make sure that the groups are learning and bonding and having more fun than they would have imagined. Check it out!!
The youth group meets on Wednesday evenings at 5:45pm for supper at the church and a time of fellowship and games. Youth group starts at 7PM and goes until 8:30PM. This ministry is tied with an adult group that meets on Wednesdays as well. Parents and guardians are welcome to come with your youth, stay for supper and then go to the adult study from 7-8:30PM while the youth are in theirs. Make Wednesday the “NO COOKING DAY” and come enjoy the evening with us!
We have a full worship band that plays on Sunday mornings. We always are seeking those that God has gifted with musical abilities to share with God’s people. Whether that be with singing or playing an instrument, we would love to hear from you and find the place that God has for you to share your gifts and worship Him together with us.
For more information on our worship teams, please contact Holly Egger via our Contact form.
At Quarry Rock, we have some ministries that involve food, believe it or not!! Every Sunday morning following the worship time, we gather in the fellowship hall to enjoy a time of getting to know one another better and we do that with the accompaniment of coffee, lemonade and a lot of snacks and goodies. Perhaps you would like to be a part of that ministry and would like to partake in the blessing of bringing some goodies or baked goods on a rotational basis. If so, please contact Heather Meehan via our Contact form.
As adults, we need more than just a Sunday morning sermon to take us through the week. We need constant learning and reminding and encouragement. Wednesday nights can be that spark to carry us through. On Wednesday evenings, we invite you to forget about cooking the evening meal and come to Quarry Rock at 5:45PM for supper with us. Supper is served from 5:45-6:45PM. At 7PM, we have a study from topics that are relative to what we all face every day. Currently we are in the series of videos by Rob Bell called “NOOMA” videos. Each video is approximately 10-15 minutes long. From there we share insights, look at scripture as it relates, and talk about how we can take this topic, relate it to our every day lives, and figure out how to become more Christ-like through the situation. It has proven to be a very exciting, learning and valuable time.

We have a men’s Bible study that meets at the church every Saturday morning at 6:30AM. We have coffee and enjoy the quietness of being still before God through prayer, learning from God’s Word, and fellowship together.

There is a women’s Bible study that meets every other Tuesday evening for a time of study, enlightenment through God’s Word, and fellowship among other women. Currently, we are going through a Beth Moore study.
